It’s been an exciting year for anyone associated with Xero.

In Australia they continue to grow by 200-300 conversions per day.  The Xero community (Partners, add-ons, cloud integrators etc) have developed into a wonderful active and vocal movement that keeps Xero on their toes and provides fantastic support for each other.

Lot’s of firsts…

For us at Jet Convert 2013 has been an amazing journey. We’ve gone gang-busters this year and broken lots of conversion records:

• Completed over 1,600 MYOB to Xero conversions in 2013
• Grew our team from 8 at the start of the year to 20 team members as of today
• Introduced software with the ability to convert MYOX files
• Converted a MYOB file 960MB in size
• Did a pdf to csv conversion that was 461 pdf pages
• Went to Xerocon for the first time as an exhibitor
• Met and befriended heaps of great Accountants, Bookkeepers and Xero-enablers.

It looks like 2014 holds even more exciting milestones for us. Unfortunately I cannot specifically mention new products in development but I can say that we aim to make moving onto Xero even easier for you and your clients.

What’s your wish list for 2014?

Our development team will be revisiting the 2014 conversion product roadmap so your input will be extremely valuable to help us prioritise.

Ready for the holidays

In the meantime, I hope that you have a great summer break. We’ll be off enjoying places as exotic as a white Christmas in Germany (Alexander), to connecting with nature in Tasmania (Bonnie). Myself, I’m hosting a truckload of relatives joining me on the Sunshine Coast from the frosts of down south. So it looks like I will be spending a lot of time at Main Beach in Noosa – it’s tough but someone has to do it.

Our office is closed from Monday 23 December, back again on Monday January 6. Keep sending though conversions for the remainder of the week and we’ll get them back to you in the usual 3 business days.
